FIELD: fire fighting in mines. SUBSTANCE: separation of underground fire locations is carried out by parts by creation closed injecting curtains of gasproof grouting material around active fire locations. Each curtain is formed in several steps: first wells, used to open revealed gas conducting passages, are pumped with grouting slurry until it comes out through cracks and downfalls in backfill surface bed, then grouting slurry is pumped in wells, drilled through all the depth of heated massif. Well design parameters and modes of pumping are selected taking into account thermometric investigations of underground fire and noncombustible debris of rock in the bed. For this purpose a schedule of temperature oscillations is built on the results of these investigations. Slopes of gas conducting passages are determined on the basis of these temperatures. Parameters of grouting wells and modes of pumping are chosen on the basis of the slopes. Well depth is determined by a formula. EFFECT: fire fighting in conditions of underground and open development of fields of solid combustible minerals. 5 dwg
