SUBSTANCE: high-temperature storage battery has cells 1 placed in container 2 with layer of vacuum insulation 3 which sealed space communicates with outside thermally controlled chamber 7 containing material 8 with reversible absorption of hydrogen. Vacuum insulation has on inner side additional layer with sealed space where powder of metal hydride is put. Specified space is coupled to manometer.
