FIELD: diffusion welding equipment. SUBSTANCE: pressurizing device has pressurization source with vessel containing a charge of powdered metal hydride. Vessel is communicated with cavity of hermetically sealed sylphon, which has operating rod disposed on its end. When metal hydride powder is heated, hydrogen is released from metal hydride powder charge. Hydrogen is delivered into sylphon under pressure to stretch it and as a result operating rod is caused to displace and clamp parts intended to be welded. Metal hydride powder is held at predetermined temperature during welding and then vessel is subjected to cooling. As a result reverse absorption of hydrogen from powder, contraction of sylphon and reverse displacement of operating rod occur consequently, parts are released from action of loading. EFFECT: increased efficiency of welding and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
