FIELD: treatment of curvilinear surfaces. SUBSTANCE: brush consists of working section made of barrel-shaped nap holders which are arranged between clamping plates fastened together by means of flexible connecting member fitted in hole of nap holders. Brush has additional working sections, helical self-centering mechanism which consists of control screw, plungers and nuts and mandrel with holes. Clamping plates of additional working sections are linked with mandrel; nuts are made in form of different-skew wedges; plungers are received by holes of mandrels. At one end plungers are engageable with nuts and at other end, they are linked with one of clamping plates of additional working sections for imparting synchronous radial motion to them. Control screw is fitted in axial hole of mandrel. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
