SUBSTANCE: product: 2-formyl-2,5-dibutylthio-2,3-dihydro-4H-pyran, empirical formula is C14H24O2S2, b. p. is 114 C/1 mm mercury column, refraction coefficient is 1.5160, specific gravity is 1.0686. Reagent 1: butylthioacetic aldehyde. Reagent 2: formaldehyde. Reagent 3: diethylamine hydrochloride. Reaction conditions: molar ratio of reagents 1, 2 and 3 = 1:1:(0.3-0.5), in the medium of ethanol following by washing of reaction mixture with water. Yield of the end product is increased from 60 to 80% as compared with known method. Synthesized compound is used in medicine. EFFECT: increased yield of product.
