FIELD: chemical technology of organic compounds, ethers of vinyl alcohol. SUBSTANCE: KOH is suspended in aprotonic dipolar solvent, preferable, in dimethylsulfoxide or hexamethyltriamidophosphate at 100-110 C at mass ratio KOH-solvent 1: (17.8-29.5). Then acetylene and alcohol taken at equimolar quantity (with regard to alkali) are added to suspension at 25-30 C. Reaction mixture is heated up to 90-130 C, then vinylated alcohol is added at the rate 0.05-0.4 mole/h under continuous product withdrawal in acetylene flow (preferably at molar ratio alcohol-acetylene 1: 2-3.3). Volume rate feeding of the latter is 50-160 1/h/1 l of catalyst solution. Process is carried out under atmospheric pressure (as compared with 15 atm by known process). EFFECT: simplified process. 3 cl, 1 tbl
