FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: textile material, for example, fabric made of cotton or viscose fiber is impregnated with aqueous composition containing polyvinylmethoxy(meth)acrylamide of the formula where R - H or CH3, n = 0-600, m = 600-1300, (oligomer composition ПВС-МОЛ or ПВС-Мола) - 50-67 g/l, mixture of vinyltriethoxysilane with methylethylvinylhydride siloxane of the formula (CH3)2RSiO-[(SiHC2H5O)m-(SiCH3CH=CH2O)n]xSiR(CH3)2 where R - R-CH3 or OH, m = 1-3, n = 1-3, x - 3-30 at their mass ratio 1:4-1:9 - 75-100 g/l and maleic anhydride 11-15 g/l is dried at 90-100 C for 0.5-1.0 min following by thermal treatment at 140-150 C for 3-4 min or irradiation by accelerated electrons at the dose 15-20 kGr. To increase additionally hydrophobic properties preparation АГМ-9 based on gamma-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (10-15 g/l) is added to composition. Noncollapsibility of cotton fabric (coarse calico) at dry state is 220-235 degrees, at wet state is 265-285 degrees. Fabric shrinkage by warp and weft is 0.6-1.3 and 0.7-1.8%, respectively. Waterproof is 100-115 mm aqueous column. Strength loss at fixation with irradiation by warp and weft is 15-19%, and at thermofixation - 25 and 40%, respectively.
