FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves impregnating textile cellulose material with aqueous solution containing, g/l:preparation based on oligomer product of condensation of ethylidene urea with glyoxal (in the form of 40%-aqueous solution) 180-200; maleic anhydride 12-15; maleic acid and dihydroxyethyl octadecylamine monoester (in the form of 45-50% pasty preparation) 8-12; squeezing and drying cloths at 110-120 C and exposing to accelerated electrons with dosage of 8-15 Ci/gr. Upon treatment coarse calico has crease resistance of 260-265/240-245 deg in dry/wet state; shrinkage 0.3-0.6%; loss of tensile strength per one core/filling thread 21-23/20-25%. EFFECT: increased efficiency, provision for retaining qualities of cloths. 1 tbl
