FIELD: small arms. SUBSTANCE: casing 1 of box magazine has walls A, Б, and B behind which walls of feeding device 2 are located. One wall of casing has windows 3 displaced over length and with reference to each other. Row of sections with marked symbols following each other is positioned under each window in wall of feeding device 2 in direction of length of casing. With magazine charged completely lower window presents number corresponding to capacity of it. Information on number of cartridges in magazine can be read both when loading and when firing from weapon in turn in each window.
