FIELD: war materiel; small arms, sporting guns. SUBSTANCE: proposed magazine includes follower, spring and body made from high-strength polymer material; body is provided with groove on its side surface. Novelty of invention consists in making the groove on external surface of body wall and providing it with two marks; distance between them is equal to maximum stroke of follower; upper mark is made on section of body located below line of coupling the magazine to receiver; indicating mark is made on lower part of side surface of follower; when follower is in extreme positions, this mark coincides with respective marks on magazine body; scale showing number of ammunition in magazine is made between two marks on side surface of body.
