FIELD: aids for blind. SUBSTANCE: device of tactile presentation has locators of preset position of rods which are manufactured in the form of spirals from material with effect of shape memory, for instance from, nitinole, put on rod over its length and composed of two sections which common point is made fast to rod and electrically coupled to it. Free ends of sections are mounted to positive stop against contact washers bordering correspondingly on indication surface and on lower end of hole. Rods are electrically insulated from turns of spiral. Contact washers are coupled to output of source of controlling voltage and common point of spiral sections is coupled to zero point of this source. With supply of controlling voltage to lower section of locator heating of spiral takes place because of resistivity and partial straightening of spiral of this section due to effect of shape memory of material. Thanks to rigid coupling of common point of sections with rod the latter will move, extend above indication surface and register in this position till proper voltage arrives to upper section. With supply of voltage to upper section rod will return to initial position below indication surface and will be registered in it. EFFECT: improved reliability of device. 2 dwg
