FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical heaters and can be used in, for example gas flow heaters incorporates with anaesthesia apparatuses, inhalator devices etc. Heating element represents a spiral of Archimedes made up of several heating tapes with discretely varying width that are coiled onto rigid spatial structure made of axial pipe. Spikes are arranged on the ends of said pipe perpendicular to its axis. Aluminous tubes are laid between said spikes in lengthwise direction, fastened by rods with spikes passed through holes in said tubes. Electric heater tapes are squeezed between aluminous tubes and are connected in series. Tape section width decrease is defined from mathematical relation and proportionally increases specific power generated on tape surface.
EFFECT: expanded performances.
