FIELD: magnetic recording-reproduction of information. SUBSTANCE: device for videorecorders has two two-gap units of magnetic heads diametrically arranged on rotary drum, three amplifiers, three keys, two channels of recording of first and second formats of videorecording interlinked over input through one of keys. Each of channels is manufactured in the form of two circuits of recording signals of brightness and color interconnected over input. In first channel outputs of circuits are intercoupled through output adder. First amplifier is connected to its output and two other amplifiers are linked to separate outputs of second channel. Mobile contacts of two other keys are lectromagnetically connected to windings of two heads arranged complanarly. Their stationary contacts are coupled to first and second amplifiers. Windings of two other heads placed complanary are connected to input of third amplifier. EFFECT: increased reliability of device. 2 dwg
