SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic echo depth finder has transceiving unit connected to analog-to-digital computer mounted in tandem with video storage, digital-to-analog computer, and TV display, microprocessor unit, clock-pulse master oscillator, and control unit incorporating programmable read-only storage and clocked register whose data input is connected to output of programmable read-only storage, control input is connected to output of clock generator, and output of clocked register is connected to first address input of programmable read-only storage; control unit input is connected to second address input of programmable read-only storage, video storage input, and microprocessor unit output; control unit output is connected to clocked register output and to control inputs of transceiver unit, video storage, and TV display.
