FIELD: turning of crystals. SUBSTANCE: device for crystal turning has bed carrying platform for oscillation in axial direction by linear step motor and support for radial motion. Crystal-article and crystal cutter are installed on mandrels. Said crystals are rotated by electric drive. Spindle of front head is installed in axial support in form of additional bushing which comes in contact with four flat springs. Bushing has four uniformly spaced cylindrical outer grooves. Value of radius of bend of flat springs amounts to 0.5-0.8 of value of surface radius of respective groove. Each spring is secured to boss which may be moved in direction from spindle.
