FIELD: agricultural machines. SUBSTANCE: double-knife cutter drive has drive shaft with mechanism to move knives in antiphase installed in housing. Knife operating mechanism has levers each provided with knife and spring-loaded by flexible members arranged at both sides of lever and connected to each other. Flexible members are made in form of tie rod passing through members and holes in levers. Free ends of levers, not connected to knives, are hinge-connected on housing. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of reaper owing to reduction of action of inertia forces on drive. 2 dwg
