FIELD: bicycles. SUBSTANCE: device for connecting steering column of bicycle with front fork stem has upper and lower bearing units, each made in form of support with cup-shaped surface placed inside steering column tube and connected with ring of front fork stem placed inside steering column. Curvilinear surface of ring is pointed to cup-shaped surface of support. Solids of revolution of bearing are arranged between these surfaces. Cup-shaped surfaces of supports are made in place of conjugation of inner wall of steering column tube with inner surfaces of circular grooves formed on tube and pointed inwards. EFFECT: reduced metal usage, labour input in manufacture of bearing unit, simplified design of device, increased accuracy of relative arrangement of bearings, prevention of tight turning of handlebar and wedging of bearings. 3 dwg
