FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to single-track two-wheeled bicycles. The bicycle consists of a frame, a driven wheel, a steering device, a saddle and a driving wheel with a foot pedal-rod drive built into its hub. The size of the wheel support base is made extremely close to the sum of the wheel radii. As a steering device, a system of two X-shaped crossed, stylized in the shape of the letter “H”, flat rigid frames with hinges arranged in pairs one above the other on four vertical axes in the corners of two equidistant virtual rectangles is used. Each of the virtual rectangles has only two opposite sides, made of pieces of thin-walled pipe of rectangular cross-section. The virtual rectangles are located one above the other parallel to each other. One pair of sides is rigidly fixed on the steering racks, blocking the ends of the axis of rotation of the driven wheel with their body. The other pair of sides of the virtual rectangle is rigidly fixed on one of the vertices of the tetrahedron. All the rectilinear edges of the tetrahedron, except for one, coaxial to the axis of rotation of the primary shaft of the drive wheel drive, are the bearing elements of the bicycle frame.
EFFECT: achieves an improvement in the running qualities of the bike.
