FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: continuous stream of molten glass flows on stream interrupter made in form of ball 2 fitted on shaft 3 and rotated by drive 4. Ball winds up layers of molten glass and holds them by adhesion. When ball 2 is stopped, molten glass flows from ball to form bead 6 which under gravity separates from ball 2 and drops into mold installed under ball 2. After separation of bead 6, ball 2 starts rotating again to accumulate next portion of molten glass. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
