FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: solid charge from permanent magnet waste is loaded into induction furnace, heated and melted. Charge is subjected for additional heating by plasma or electric arc up to 1873-2373 K. Then melt is kept at this temperature range for 1-10 min per every mass part of aluminium (in %) containing in charge. In the case of utilization of oxidized waste formed at melting of alloys for permanent magnets they were burdened to lumpy ones at concentration 5-95%. Waste of alloy polishing for permanent magnets can be added to the lumpy and oxidized waste at concentration 10-90%. EFFECT: improved method of remelting. 3 cl, 1 tbl
