FIELD: metallurgy industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, and can be applied both in ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy. During agglomeration the charge is supplied to the grate, and there performed is ignition, roasting with supply and combustion of a cold gas-air mixture in the intermediate bed, and the following cooling of upper bed by sucked-through air. Before the area of gas-air mixture to be supplied to the bed there supplied is water in amount of 9-17 l/t of the charge. Before water is supplied and after gas-air mixture is supplied, there introduced from above to the bed being sintered is an additional pressurised gaseous reagent flow with the possibility of pressure increase up to 1-5 at. At that the additional gaseous reagent flow is introduced to the bed locally in the form of a single jet system. Water and gas-air mixture supply device and device used for local introduction and pressure increase of gaseous reagent have similar structural base and different constructions of their chambers.
EFFECT: intensifying agglomeration process at low costs.
