FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: carburetor has mixing chamber connected with the float chamber and air-operated drive constructed as a housing separated into the first and second working spaces by a diaphragm. The first space is connected with the passage of free-running and mixing chamber in the zone of the above-throttle space through two branch pipes and openings made in the wall of the mixing chamber. Connecting pipes of an electropneumatic valve are connected with a space downstream of the throttle through the opening made in the wall of the mixing chamber. The third branch pipe is connected to the second working space of the air-operated drive. The pickup of rotation speed of the engine shaft is connected to the inlet of control unit. The outlet of the control unit is connected with the control input of the electropneumatic valve. When speed of rotation of the engine shaft exceeds 1800 rev/min the control unit generates a control signal which actuates the electropneumatic valve. The diaphragm of the air- operated drive deflects and connecting rod, positioned inside the first working space, moves together with the needle-like tip and opens the opening made in the branch pipe coupled with the free-running passage. Due to the choice of the branch pipe diameter, tip stroke and site of connection of the branch pipe, pressure increases in the free-running passage after actuating the air- operated drive. As the result, gasoline flow through the fuel nozzle stops. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 3 dwg
