FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator has cylindrical case 1 with input branch pipe 2 and output pipes 3 and 4 for removing liquid and gaseous media and is provided with separating member. The separating member is made in form of spiral-shaped tape 5 which has width being equal to 0.3-0.4 radius of the case. The tape is disposed along the whole case height and is connected with internal walls of the case. Branch pipes 2 and 3 are disposed tangentially. EFFECT: improved efficiency; improved reliability of operation. 2 dwg
