FIELD: complex processing of phosphate raw. SUBSTANCE: method involves melting of tetrahydrate, addition of water or water and calcium carbonate, or water and strontium carbonate to melt prepared up to acid concentration in the melt 1-6 wt.-% and melt density 1,63 - 1,71 g/cm3. Insoluble precipitate is separated. Cleared melt is treated with ammonium carbonate at quantity 70-95% of stoichiometry (as calcium), and chalk precipitate is isolated. Filtrate is treated with ammonium carbonate at stoichiometric quantity to the sum of calcium and strontium in solution, and strontium concentrate is separated. Strontium content in productive chalk is up to 94%. EFFECT: improved method of calcium nitrate processing. 1 tbl
