FIELD: ceramics. SUBSTANCE: permeable porous material on the basis of silicon carbide consists of the ceramic matrix with strengthening inclusions which shows open porosity 80-97%. Ceramic carcass consists of silicon carbide, and silicon is used as strengthening inclusions which fills micropores of carcass at the following ratio of components, wt.-%: silicon carbide 55-68, and silicon 32-45.
