FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: fiber is fed along an inclined sliding surface of the spinning rotor into a groove provided with through passages. Subsequently the fiber is twisted together with a rotating free end of the thread. The through passages trap and accumulate linter and short filaments which are captured by the rotating end of the thread taken through the groove. The axes of the passages are tilted 30-40 degrees to the rotation axis of the groove and communicate through a ring affixed to the rotor on its exterior in the section of the greatest diameter. Each passage has the 2-4 ratio between its length and the distance along its axis which separates the outer surface of the rotor from the inner surface of the ring. EFFECT: better quality of thread, higher efficiency of process. 2 cl, 1 dwg
