FIELD: devices for nondestructive tests. SUBSTANCE: device has shoe whose working surface is used to mount cylindrical part held down by prism and to whose base flexible member is attached. Novelty is that device has mechanism for setting ultrasonic vibration inlet angle in the form of two sectors whose projections carry sliders joined together by means of cleat mounting transducer with piezoid that functions as bottom of immersion bath. For detecting lengthwise oriented flaws, ultrasonic vibration inlet angle setting mechanism is attached to end walls of base so that axis crossing radial intersection of two sectors is aligned with lower generating line of tube external surface contacting shoe surface and beam center of ultrasonic vibrations is aligned with radii of sectors; for detecting crosswise oriented flaws, ultrasonic vibration inlet angle setting mechanism is attached to side walls of base.
