FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ultrasonic inspection of products having a flat or cylindrical surface. To expand the application area on the lower surface of the device body there is a longitudinal groove, the walls of which are the supports and side walls of the local bath, the end walls of which are replaceable strips. Lower edges of the strips approximate the shape of the surface of the controlled product. Planks have the designation of a range of radiuses of curvature of the surface of the products to be controlled. To simplify the precise adjustment of the clearance between the controlled product and the ultrasonic transducer, the latter, for the possibility of movement along its axis, is mounted in a cylindrical holder having an external thread for mating with the housing. On the upper face of the body there are: a circular scale, which allows, when the holder is rotated, to estimate the amount of gap variation from the displacement of the holder's slot relative to the scale, and an arrow with a sign indicating the direction of rotation of the holder, corresponding to a change in the clearance according to the sign. To increase the reliability of the body supports have carbide inserts.
EFFECT: invention helps to orient the ultrasonic transducer of ultrasonic inspection of products having a flat or cylindrical surface.
