SUBSTANCE: module has two code converters organizing conversion of direct and inverted parallel codes of input and output numbers into serial code, transmission of serial code through electric isolation optocouplers, and reverse conversion followed by comparison of direct and inverted codes; module serviceability is recovered after failure caused by noise pulse. Each code converter has bug= ffer register 26, eight-bit comparison circuit 53, two-bit comparison circuit 54, three to-input AND gates 43-45, three-input AND gate 49, two OR gates 47,48, NOT gate 52, two-bit gate 33, three single-bit gates 36-38, two synchronous flip-flops 27,28, RS flip-flop 46, failure counter 30, and modulo-3 counter 56.
