FIELD: electroacoustics. SUBSTANCE: transducer has diaphragm covered with conducting coating, insulating base that mounts fixed electrodes with projections on its surface whose tops have microridges. Surfaces of supporting ring and fixed electrode projections are located in same plane, profile angles and rounding-off radii of microridges are equal in longitudinal and cross sectional areas, profile angles of microridges are between 0.5 and 5 deg. Transducer manufacturing process involves installation of fixed electrode and supporting ring on insulating base. Supporting ring and fixed electrode assembled on base are machined in one plane shaping ridges equal throughout all directions whereupon uniformly tensioned diaphragm is mounted on supporting ring. EFFECT: improved design, facilitated manufacture. 1 cl, 4 dwg
