FIELD: acoustics, emergency alarm systems. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for manufacture of ultrasonic receiving-transmitting capacitor converters for acoustic level gauges, for emergency alarm devices. Proposed converter includes case, current conductive immobile electrode with circular rectangular protrusions and recesses in face side, first ring arranged around immobile electrode, first membrane in the form of tightened polymer film metallized on one side and bordering protrusions of immobile electrode with nonconductive side, dielectric base, second and third rings, second membrane in the form of tightened polymer film metallized on one side, first and second flexible circular dielectric spacers, flat screen in the form of ring. Case has shape of horn on face side. First membrane is attached with nonconductive side to first ring and comes in contact with metallized side with second ring. First and second rings are positioned one beneath another. Thickness of second spacer does not exceed 300 μ. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture, improved operational stability and reliability. 1 dwg
