FIELD: apiculture, in particular, construction of equipment for artificial breeding of queen bees.
SUBSTANCE: queen-cell cumulosol has bowl-shaped casing with detachably attached bottom equipped with mounting leg and having spherical slot with wax plate placed therein and adapted for sowing thereon of egg by queen bee. Bottom with wax plate is adapted to be inserted into hole-cell of plastic comb for queen-bee withdrawal. Comb is placed in queen-bee family for egg laying and development of larvae. Upon ripening of eggs or formation of larvae, comb is removed from bee family, nurse-bees are shaken-off, bottoms with eggs or larvae are separated from comb. Casing of queen-cell cumulosol is put onto bottom and inserted into holes of inoculation frame for further growing of queen-bee in nursing families.
EFFECT: improved conditions for laying of eggs by queen-bee into cells of artificial plastic comb and, accordingly, reduced period of adaptation by queen-bee to comb and increased number of larvae formed.
