FIELD: sports, particularly, sports engineering. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes setting up mats in two plies, attaching them to one another and ply to ply, separately inflating chambers of each ply with compressed air for regulating stiffness, stepping up pressure in chambers of mats from upper to lower ply, setting upper ply pressure to 0.1 to 1,0·105Pa and interplay pressure gradient to at least 0,05·105Pa, setting limit pressure in lower ply to 1,5·105Pa maximum, positioning upper ply mats with certain displacement relative to lower plies in direction of axis of flooring, and setting displacement of at least one fourth of mat length between one ply relative to another. EFFECT: broader range of applications of pneumatic floorings in gymnastics. 5 cl
