FIELD: health, sports.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to sports equipment. The invention may be used for auxiliary spring boards, which may be utilised by young sportsmen of different weight, for instance, when preparing to perform separate exercises. The invention substance is as follows. An elastic support is installed between the spring board base and platform. At the same time a set of parts is applied, designed to ensure interaction of elastic support fixed on the base with the spring board platform. The spring board stiffness is adjusted by variation of stiffness of the suspension specified above. Having selected the optimal level of the spring board stiffness, gymnasts perform trial jumps. Application of this elastic element (suspension) makes it possible to ensure quite a soft landing of a sportsman with according adjustment. In other cases it is required that a sportsman practices landing at quite a stiff support.
EFFECT: increased range of spring board stiffness adjustment.
