FIELD: purification of gas dust in metallurgy, chemical industry and other industries. SUBSTANCE: filter element is mounted in chamber containing the dust-laden gas and is made in form of rigid plates made of mineral wool and embraced with framework on two sides. Plates are faces of filtering cassette of polyhedron; total area of front, rear and lower faces is equal to 25-30% of total area of filtering surfaces. Upper face is made in form of cover in whose center ejector with diffuser is secured; ejector and diffuser are arranged inside cassette. Mounted coaxially in purified gas chamber is nozzle for feeding the pulse of compressed air. Diffuser consists of three sections which ensure distribution of compressed air in equal volumes over faces of the cassette. Lateral sections of diffuser are curvilinear in shape and their outlet section is parallel with lateral faces of cassette. Area of outlet section of lateral section exceeds area of inlet section by 7 to 9 times. Central section is shortened; area of its outlet section exceeds that of inlet section by 3 to 4 times. Relationship of area of ejector neck and total nozzle throat area is equal to 7.5:10. Total nozzle throat area is equal to 0.003-0.004 sq.m/sq.m of the surface being cleaned.
