FIELD: purification of waste water, mainly oil-containing flows. SUBSTANCE: device has housing and rotor mounted inside it on drive shaft. Rotor has two disks 7 and 8 mounted one above other forming chamber 9 which is brought in communication with waste water supply branch pipe 2 and two non-rigid taper partitions 10 and 11 whose lesser bases are freely suspended from disks forming circular slit 12 in between them. Chamber 9 is provided with seal 13 between disks for sealing the chamber relative to waste water supply branch pipe 2 in which gas discharge branch pipe 3 is mounted. Secured to lower disk 8 is circular partition 16 forming passage 15 for waste water together with upper disk 7. Height "a" of this passage is determined by equation a = A·(πD)2, m, where A is constant, cu.m and D is inner diameter of circular partition, m on the condition of flowing of oil and water and entrapping of gas discharged via branch pipe 3. Separation of oil and water is effected in circular slit 12 between partitions 10 and 11 of rotor due to high density of water and high viscosity of oil which coalesces with partition 11.
