FIELD: aircraft. SUBSTANCE: device has the form of cavities defined at the surface of the item. A central body is received in each cavity such that an annular passage is defined between the body and walls of the cavity. The body is hollow and communicates with a vacuum source. The body surface supports air takes and the inside of the annular passage forms a converging and diffusing flow-type channel. The cavity is provided with a front sharp edge and a blunted back one which can fix the line of separating the boundary layer and localize the line of attaching the layer. EFFECT: less power consumed by suction means and improved aerodynamic performance of the item. 9 cl, 5 dwg
