FIELD: wind power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in wind-driven electric plants converting wind energy into electric, mechanical, hydraulic and other kind energy. According to proposed method, rotor blade is made in form of wind with thick aerofoil profile and on rear part of blade, from downwind side, boundary layer swirl control system is arranged consisting of longitudinal cavities with central bodies forming ring channels with suction of air from each cavity and each central body through air intakes into receivers which are connected by air ducts with low-pressure receiver inside blade. Air from said receiver is sucked out to end of blade through air duct owing to centrifugal forces of rotating blade and pressure differential at root of blade and its end owing to large summary air velocity on end on rotating blade. Plates are installed inside cavities and on outer surface of blade at definite pitch to limit air flow along blade. Proposed method of increasing efficiency of rotor blade of wind-driven electric plant is implemented in one of design versions.
