FIELD: analysis of content of gases in atmosphere. SUBSTANCE: gas analyzer has the following components which are optically connected with radiation source: optical analyzer consisting of modulator-switch and dish, optical filter, focusing optics, radiation receiver and electric circuit for processing the signal with synchronizing signal shaping circuit which is connected with modulator-switch in which the dish of optical analyzer is made of 2n cells where n is integral number more than or equal to 2; every other cell is filled with gas being analyzed. Modulator-switch provides for alternate switching of radiation to one and other series of cells and regulation of depth of modulation. Signal processing circuit is provided with at least one amplifier connected to two sync detectors. Synchronizing signal shaping circuit is provided with synchronizing signal detector connected with modulator-switch coupled in its turn to amplifier whose output is connected with inputs of filters developing signals at the switching and modulation frequency. Inputs of sync detectors are connected to outputs of synchronizing signal shaping circuit.
