FIELD: remote measurement of content and determination of spatial distribution of various gases in atmosphere. SUBSTANCE: panoramic gas analyzer includes optical commutator ensuring passage of radiation through layer of measured gas and atmosphere, optical filter and IR camera installed on one optical axis, computation unit in the form of computer with display, unit to match IR camera with computation unit, information storage, synchronization unit. First output of IR camera is connected to information storage and to first input of matching unit, output of the latter is connected to input of computer. Second output of IR camera is connected to first input of synchronization unit which output is connected to input of commutator that is connected to second input of matching unit and to second input of synchronization unit. Gas analyzer provides for generation of image of gas cloud in the form of isoconcentration lines against background of underlying surface in IR region of spectrum with high degree of selectivity, that is with reaction to measured gas. Analyzer can be use on board of any flying vehicle and on ground. EFFECT: high degree of selectivity of proposed panoramic gas analyzer. 1 dwg
