FIELD: biochemistry, particularly enzymology. SUBSTANCE: method involves washing erythrocytes of donor blood with physical solution and centrifuging with simultaneous precipitation of hemoglobin, and stabilizing the catalase with a mixture of chloroform and propanol in a ratio of 5:3. The supernatant produced by centrifuging is treated with an equal volume of water and ammonium sulfide is dissolved at the rate of 535-540 g per 1 l of extract until salt is fully dissolved. The formed sediment is again centrifuged. EFFECT: higher intensity of method.
