FIELD: enzymology. SUBSTANCE: cattle spleen is homogenized in water at pH 0.5-0.9, mixture is centrifuged, supernatant is desalted out with sodium chloride at 2-6 C (10-12% of solution volume), and active fraction is dissolved in water (0.1-0.2 water volume to the raw mass). Desalting is carried out by dialysis following by purification of the end product by precipitation and reprecipitation with 4-6 volumes of ethanol at 0-4 C and drying.
