FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: steel has components at the following ratio, wt.-%: carbon 0.01-0.065; silicon 0.3-1.1; manganese 0.8-1.5; chrome 17-21; vanadium 0.3-0.8; zirconium 0.15-0.35; aluminium 0.05-0.25; rare-earth metals 0.005-0.1; nickel 0.6-1.5; titanium 0.05-0.25; calcium 0.05-0.1; boron 0.003-0.05, and iron - the rest. Steel has additionally, wt. -% : molybdenum 1-2.5 and niobium 0.2-0.5. Steel does not show tendency for corrosion cracking under stress condition in solutions of nitrate, hydroxide, carbonate and hydrocarbonate, and for intercrystalline corrosion. Steel shows good weldability involving argon-arch welding. EFFECT: enhanced quality of steel. 2 cl, 2 tbl
