FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: device comprises casing 1 with loading hopper 2 and discharge hole with metering device 13. Casing has the form of a vertical cylinder with inclined cone-shaped receiver 4. Butter moves from loading hopper into casing and gets on low-potential electrode 8 which is made in the form of rings coaxially installed on cross section of casing on rolling-contact bearings 10. The butter is acted upon from above by high-potential electrode 5 made as a circular disc installed coaxially with casing. As a high-frequency generator is switched on, a high-frequency electromagnetic field is generated between electrodes 5 and 8, thus remelting the butter. Simultaneously, crank mechanism 12 is started and turns electrode 8 reversibly via shaft 11. Remelted butter flows into inclined receiver 4 and is discharged through metering device 13.
