FIELD: ski outfit. SUBSTANCE: ski stick rod is made of composite based underlayer, carrier layer and outer layer bonded by a hardened binder. The underlayer is formed by winding a fiberglass filament on a mandrel, the filament coils being perpendicular to the rod axis. The carrier layer is formed by carbon filaments, fiberglass filaments and reinforced amidelilaments laid in layers along the length of the rod. Each layer has three filaments of aforementioned kind, the filaments being alternatively positioned in mutually parallel relation. This allows a better distribution of filaments within the volume of the carrier layer. The outer layer is either totally formed of reinforced amide filaments or has them in combination with fiberglass filaments. The organoplastic composite based on reinforced amide filaments has a high impact strength and wear resistance ensuring enhanced durability of the ski sticks produced.
