SKI STICK STRAP LOOP Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: sports equipment, in particular, device for connecting skier's hand with ski stick handle. SUBSTANCE: loop has shaped carpal strap with self-engaging members (of loop-and-hook type) on catch, force belts, and retaining strap directed between thumb and forefinger and connected with its one end to outer part of carpal strap. Retaining strap has loop rigidly fixed to it so as to embrace force belts in loose manner prior to inserting force belts into handle. Other end of retaining strap is rigidly fixed on inner side of carpal strap. Loop of such construction provides articulated connection fixed on skier's wrist between hand and ski handle at point adjacent to axis of relative rotation. EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
