FIELD: production of carbon fibers. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to winding of thread-like materials and design of bobbin holders. Proposed bobbin holder has housing with cylindrical coil spring installed in housing screw groove. End of spring from side of bobbin mounting is coupled with housing by means of bent-off end fitted in housing hole. With thread being wound on bobbin, its inner surface contacts with coils of spring. Under action of friction forces between bobbin and spring, coils expand and their diameter increases providing tight fitting to inner surface of bobbin and reliable holding of bobbin on bobbin holder both in circumferential and longitudinal directions relative to housing. EFFECT: provision of winding of low-strength thread-like materials, possibility of use of bobbin holder in thread spreaders for cross winding, simplified design. 2 cl, 1 dwg
