FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: each support prop straight up to roofing is made of two members. Circular roofing is combined with members of each prop below yielding unit for displacement between them. The first member of prop is located from inner side of roofing by its overlapping and in point of joint forms yielding unit. The second member of prop is located from the outer side of roofing by overlapping it and in point of joint forms additional yielding unit. The second member of prop is 0.3-0.5 m shorter than the first member, and roofing ends have straight extensions for 0.5-0.7 m. Props are built in working floor. Roofing is prestressed structure by drawing together its ends. Props are displaced inside working for value of this drawing together. EFFECT: higher bearing capacity of support and increased reliability of yielding units. 2 cl, 3 dwg
