FIELD: supports in mining industry. SUBSTANCE: framed arched heading supports are made of box-section and special interchangeable metal shapes for use in difficult conditions of high underground pressure and substantial displacements of rock mass. Frame props of support are made straightline of box-section metal shapes, and upper part is made of curved piece of special metal shape. Pliable units are produced by fixing the ends of upper part in spaces of props for possible shifting at adjustable resistance to underground pressure. For this purpose pliable units are provided with screws inserted through wall of box-section shape and installed with thrust against end wall of special metal shape. End wall at height of pliable unit and possible displacement of upper part is provided with supporting plate. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 dwg
