FIELD: pipe line transport. SUBSTANCE: at steady-state flow of fluid in a pipe line, hollow core 2 having conical tops is in equilibrium and fluid flows through a ring-shaped space defined by housing 1 and core 2. When pressure oscillations occurs, e.g. with increasing pressure, core 2 with conical tops moves away from the equilibrium position in the direction of fluid flow and overlaps the ring-shaped space at the pipe line inlet. As the result, pressure, which acts on spring-loaded blades 3, increases. Dissipation of pressure oscillation energy is provided due to a work done by blades 3. Flexible deformation of spring 5 damps the oscillation. Stop disks 6, which moves under the action of adjusting screws 7, control spring 5. By turning adjusting screws 7 , the stroke of springs 5 increases or decreases resulting in changing their rigidity and accumulated potential energy.
